Subha, a resident of Kovilur, Thanjavur lives with her husband Ramesh and two children. Her husband is a driver and undertakes painting work in his spare time. He is supported by Subha who owns two cows and sells milk to increase her family income.
In Dec 2013, Subha enrolled herself with Dvara KGFS, Thanjavur. To ensure her family’s financial stability, she availed a JLG loan and purchased a mini-truck which Ramesh could use to transport goods from one place to another. Having seen a steady rise in Ramesh’s income, Subha later availed a livestock loan to expand her dairy business, using which she bought her third cow.
Subsequently, in due course of time, the family availed for an emergency and 3 cycles of JLG loan. This was used to pay educational fees of her children, buy new tyres for the mini-truck and for paying insurance premium for the vehicle.
Sharing her experience Subha said that she was able to grow her business well through the loan amount. She also added that she found it convenient to repay the loans as it could be done in instalments. She wishes to be associated with Dvara KGFS for her future needs as well.
